Tiger skins
Police found the skins of 138 tigers, leopards and other big cats on Thailand's endangered species list when they raided two souvenir ana jewellery shops in Bangkok. The owners of the shops were charged with illegal possession of the skins, estimated to be worth about 5NZ35.000 on the local market and three times as much overseas. — Bangkok, February 19.
