Partial strike continues

Press Association) TIMARU, Jan. 13. i Timaru firemen remained on partial strike today awaiting instructions from the Canterbury Firemen’s Union on when to proceed; with wage negotiations with; the Timaru Fire Board. Mr D. S. Field, chairman of the fire board, said the brigade would have to resume full duties before wage talks with union representatives could begin. Brigadesmen will meet union representatives in Timaru at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
