‘Temporary setback’

The taking of Phuoc Long province by the Viet Cong was only a temporary set-! back for his country, said thy Ambassador to the Republic l !of Vietnam (Mr Nguyen: Hoan) in Wellington. By committing such actions I the Communist forces wereclearly giving evidence of j (bad faith towards the Parisi treaty, signed in January,! 1973, he said. Mr Hoan arrived in New! Zealand in December to take over as Ambassador from Mr Doan Ba Cang.
