Course for teachers

AUCKLAND. Jan. 12.
More than 100 teachers will take part in a week-long course on audio-visual techniques, beginning at Auckland Secondary Teachers’ College on Wednesday.
The Minister of Education (Mr Amos) will open the course, which has drawn applicants from Kaitaia to Invercargill. Teachers at tertiary institutions and in the Armed Services will take part, as well as primary and secondary teachers. The course will discuss the use of classroom display material, the use of still and movie photography, the use of educational television, and developments in individual learning programmes.
