The Canadian professional, Miss S. Post, won her first tournament for six years with a determined last-round effort in the 54-hole Colgate Far East women’s championship yesterday. Miss Post had 74 for 218, and beat the Victorian, Miss M. Masters, by one stroke. The American, Miss M. Breer, was third on 220. Miss M. Smith (New Zealand) lost her chance with a disastrous 84 in the second round. She had other scores of 71 and 74, and finished on 229.
