Corporation buys flats

WELLINGTON. The Housing Corporation will buy a block of 71 flats in Otahuhu from the receiver of Greenstone Holdings, Ltd, who was appointed last month. A price of about $750,000 will be paid for the flats, which will require further expenditure to meet the corporation's requirements. The flats will be comSleted by the receiver (Mr I. A. Williams), and the corporation hopes to take them over in March. The purchase was announced by the directorgeneral of the corporation (Mr E. J. Babe).
