'Greig, made his highest I first-class score of 167 not lout yesterday and put the | M.C.C. in a strong position I at the end of the second day lof the match against Western Australia. Greig's previous top score was 156 for Sussex against Lancashire in a championship game in 1967. Yester day, he batted for more than four hours, and hit 15 fours and two towering sixes, including one that broke a pane of glass in the mem bers’ bar.
