DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL ELECTRICITY DEPARTMENT ‘ GENERAL MANAGER The General Manager of the Council’s Electricity Department will be retiring next year and the City Council is seeking a highly qualified man to take up this important post. Applicants must be registered Electrical Engineers of good standing, and additional qualifications in other disciplines will be an advantage. The successful applicant must hove a proven record of ability to manage a complex organisation employing a large staff engaged in oil aspects of power generation and distribution. This is an opportunity to join the senior management team of a major local authority os administrative head of the largest municipal electricity undertaking in New Zealand. The current salary scale for the position is $15,495 - $T5,798/$16,100/$16,403, and the commencing point will be decided in light of the appointee's qualifications and experience.
