There are live New Zealand specialists attached to the project in the form of pilots, pilot instructors, and aviation engineers. Applications are invited for the position of Operations Manager who will take charge of the flying operations including over-all direction of the flying school and the building up of maintenance and servicing facilities. This is a particularly difficult yet challenging assignment which will initially be for a twoyear period. Salary will be negotiated and tax free allowances will be provided to the successful applicant together with transport, accommodation and other benefits. The applicant will have unlimited energy, optimism and drive, be an excellent manager of people and have a desire to work in a developing nation where circumstances are on occasions trying. It is desirable, but not essential that applicants have a background in the aviation field. Previous experience in Asia would be useful. These requirements should not deter applications from those who consider that they have the necessary personal qualifications to undertake this assignment.
