Warning from doctor

Mr Richard Nixon has left hospital for home but his personal doctor has warned that interrogation by a team of doctors appointed by the Watergate trial judge might lead to new bleeding. With his phlebitis-swollen left leg propped up at an angle, Mr Nixon was wheeled from Memorial Hospital to be driven 50 miles to his San Clemente home There he will await the visit of three doctors appointed by Judge John Sirica to decide if he is fit to' appear in the Watergate trial or give testimony at his home. Dr. John Lungren, asked if such a visit could be harmful by increasing Mr- Nixon’s erratic blood pressure, said: “I would have to say yes.” Dr Lungren said that he w?*> still concerned about sharp increases in Mr Nixon’s blood pressure in times of physical arid mental I stress, but he had decided not to give him drugs for 1 hypertension. In Washington, Mr Nixon's lawyers accused the White House of trampling on the former; President’s rights by promis-l ing Watergate special prose-! tutors free access to his' Presidential tapes and documents. The lawyers asked District: Judge Charles Richey to! stop the White House from; carrying out the agreement; until Mr Nixon could estab-j lish his own claim to cus-l tody.
