Mervyn Glue as Sweeney
A melodrama will end the year at the Elmwood Players’ theatre in Merivale. The play is “Sweeney Todd,” and it will feature Mervyn Glue in his most colourful role as the “Demon Barber.” The melodrama will open on November 30, and the players say it will provide plenty of blood-curdling Christmas fun for the whole family.
