Nonagenarian climber
A retired Japanese admiral, aged 91, was among 388 climbers over 70 years of age who scaled the 12,687 ft-high (Mount Fujiyama in July and i August, a group of aged alpinists reported today. Mr Wasaburo Kato, chairman of Fuji Kirakukai (Happy. Pleasant Fuji), said that the 388 included 85 climbers over 80 (and 353 in their seventies. I Thirty-two of them were women. One climber, aged 75, scaled the peak for the 299th time. "We climb the Fuji just to check our (physical fitness.
