ROTORUA. The hurried nature by which much important legislation is introduced i» a matter of grave concern, says the pre.-ident of the Society of Accountants (.Mr E. A. Craig, of Tauranga).
Speaking to the society's annual meeting in Rotorua. Mr Craig said that the interests of the com’iunity were not served under the programme sometimes adopted for important legislation The society had heavy com mitments during the last year, making submissions on various legislation.
