McKenzies are ahead
WELLINGTON. 1 . McKenzie (N.Z.) Lid, has ■said that sales and pre-tax, profit for the six months to August 31 are higher than for the comparative period’ last year. The firm advised that increased costs and charges and the necessity to absorb equal pay, coupled with a recent levelling off in consumer demand, makes it difficult to forecast the final, year’s result. The board of McKenzie, has resolved that an interim I dividend of 5 per cent be paid on December 12, ex dividend November 25.
