Addition to trial team
A fifth Christchurch United player — and the seventh from Canterbury — has been added to the under 19 trial teams from which the New Zealand side for the Oceania youth soccer tournament in Tahiti in December will be selected.
He is the centre-back, R. Durant, who will take his place in the southern and central combined team to meet the northern selection in Wellington tomorrow week.
Canterbury’s other players are S. Sumner, M. McNaughton, J. Verweii, R. Mulligan (all United), G. Galt (New Brighton) and R. Wilson (Western). •
