Unlucky McGirr
Misfortune continues to dog the former New Zealand water polo representative, T. M. McGirr. -Forced to miss last season’s national championships because his wife was ill, McGirr yesterday had to withdraw from the Canterbury team for the Bank of New South Wales tournament which starts this morning at Naenae. McGir has suspected pneumonia. His place has been taken by C. D. Robinson ISockbum Park). The national squad for the New Zealand Games will be announced afte the Naenae tournament. Just as last season, McGirr will will have little chance to force his Haims.
