PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Christchurch City Council, being of the opinion that it is desirable that part of the area of land situated south of the Brougham Street Expressway between Burlington Street and Waltham Road and north of Hastings Street and being more particularly described hereunder, should be dealt with under Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act, 1945. proposes to present to His Excellency, the Governor-General, a petition praying that the area so defined be constituted; a reclamation area under the' aald Act. Areas affected by the proposed reclamation I area:— THAT area of land situ-j ated within the City' oft Christchurch situated south of the Brougham Street Expressway between Burlington Street and Waltham Road and north of Hastings Street being parts of the land described in Certificates of Title 178262, 202/18, 68/438, 278/122, 263/38, 210/163, 10F/1389, 306/256, 261/221, 133/30, 166/46, 470/103, 447/226, 326/96, 376/282 Ltd, 103/89, 279/131, 299/39, 9A/19, 307/65, 103/18, 2D/285, 122/126, 273/120, 376/271, 208/216, 172/132, and the whole of Certificates of Title 429/257, 318/213, 376/270, 237/26, 308/257, 208/217, 295/44, 219/68, 138/165, 128/1354 and is more particularly shown edged red on a plan attached to the petition. A copy of the proposed petiHon with a plan of the area may be inspected during normal office hours at the public office of the Christchurch City Council. Any person, by or on behalf of many owner or mortgagee of any land situated in the areas described above, may lodge an objection in writing with the undersigned, not later than 4 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 1974. All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said land should if they have any objection to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth such objections in writing and eend the same within forty days of the first publication of this notice to the Town and County Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12244, Wellington North. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing. The area affected by the proposed reclamation area. ALL those pieces of land situated within the City of Christchurch having frontages to Harman Street.
