(c) Tenders should state a forest ride price per cubic foot for: (i) Stacked unpeeled posts TENDER NO. 3—KAKAHU WOODLOT (a) Tenders are invited for logging approximately 350,000 cubic feet of Pinus Radiata of which it is expected that 92 per cent will be sawlogs and 8 per cent will be roundwood. (b) Tenders should state a price per cubic foot for - (i) Logging, extraction and loading of sawlogs on to vehicles, (11) Trimming, cutting and stacking post material on the forest ride, (iii) Cartage of sawlogs to nominated points (current cartage schedules should be supplied. (c) Separate tenders for either (i) or (ii) or (iii) above will be considered but preference will be given to that tender which offers all three services together. The works will Include the construction in 18in diameter reinforced concrete pipe of a pumping station Wet Well which extends some 21ft below the surface and of a remote Control Building of timber frame and brick veneer construction of approximately 190 square feet. Other miscellaneous exterior works are also included in the contract. In addition, the work includes the installation of electrical and mechanical facets of the pumping station.
