Live TV on All Blacks

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The three main matches on the All Blacks’ short tour of Britain next month would be telecast live in New Zealand, a statement from the N.Z.B.C. said yesterday. The three matches are the official test against Ire* land on November 23 (November 24 New Zealand time) and the two “unofficial tests” against a Welsh XV on November 27 and the Barbarians on November 30. All will begin at 3.15 a.m. New Zealand time. The Director-General of Broadcasting (Mr L. R. Sceats) said that at least four of the other five matches would be screened in highlight form or with film of the second half. There would be delayed coverage of the Munster, Leinster, Ulster and Connaught matches.
