The Young Socialists or-[ ganisation has announced its! I support of Kay Goodger as; |a candidate in the Sydenham! by-election. Miss Goodger, will contest the seat as the' candidate of the Socialist) Action League. The Young Socialists’ nat-i lional secretary (Mr M.l ’Tucker), said the group planned to organise support I for Miss Goodger, and hoped Ito win Labour supporters to ■ her programme. He said that he hoped Labour Party members would oppose the present policies of the Government, . exemplified by attacks on the unions and by the police ’ raid on the Auckland Medical Centre.
