Woodley wins at Hawkesbury
J. Woodley (Blenheim), on a 350TZ Yamaha, won the Hawkesbury motor-cycle championship, held at Blenheim on Saturday. His time was 19min 14.1 sec and he set a new lap record of 2.56 min. S. Dundon (Wellington), riding! a 500 Suzuki, was second and P.| McClean (Lyttelton), on a 350; Yamaha, third. Other results were:— Production class.—J. White! (Timaru), 900 Kawasaki, 1; C. Bishop (Wellington), 900 Kawa-i saki, 2; Woodlev, 750 Kawasaki,, 3. ' Open class—P. McLauchlan' 'Wellington), 750 Yamaha. 1; J.I Wood 'Blenheim). 350 Yamaha,J 2: L. McClean (Lyttelton), 350 Yamaha, 3. Production class.—Bishop 1, Woodley 2; E. Smith (Christchurch), 900 Kawasaki, 3. Open class.—Wood 1, McLauchlan 2, Dundon 3. Production class.—Bishop 1, Woodley 2, Smith 3. P. Corbett and S. Forbes were successful in each of the three side-car events.
