Lamb firm but beef easier Supplies of most meat products on the Smithfield market last week were adequate for the moderate demand,: and values continued to be| steady, the Meat Board reports. However, beef supplies exceeded demand and values eased accordingly, although they do not yet reflect the 15 per cent decline in market auction prices recorded during the week.
