Wilson sets record
(N Z PA -Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Oct. 2. Mr Harold Wilson yesterday became Britain’s longestserving Labour Party Prime Minister. Adding together his two periods of office, from October, 1964, to June, 1970, and from March this year, he has beaten the previous record of six years and 92 days held by the late Lord Attlee. However, Lord Attlee can still be credited with having been Labour Prime Minister for the longest continuous period.
