Coll back in action
The New Zealand Rug by league secondrow forward, A. P. Coll (Wtest Coast), returned to Rhe football field last Saturday after having undergone surgery ear!tier this season. Coll was In New Zealand’s vic-' tory over Britain in the first test at Auckland in late July, but suffered a serious knee injury and limped from the field early in the second
international at the Show Grounds a week later. He had a cartilage removed from the knee and also received treatment to his ligaments. Coll was required to use crutches for a time after his discharge from hospital. Last Saturday he played on the wing during the first half of his Greymouth Marist club’s friendly fixture with Hornby.
