Derailments at Amberley
The main trunk railway line at Amberley was blocked for six hours yesterday after 10 waggons from two different goods trains were derailed in separate accidents. About 50 passengers on the north and southbound railcars and the express from Picton to Christchurch were taken past the blockage in taxis and buses.
