Withdrawals from fund
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 1. Nearly half the farmers who contributed last year to the farm income equalisation fund had since. withdrawn their full contributions, the Minister of Finance (Mr Tizard) told Parliament today. Mr Tizard said that 23,203 fanners had contributed $85,456,000 to the fund. 10,704 contributors had since withdrawn the whole of their savings.
