Situations Vacant MOTOR CLAIMS ASSESSOR/INSPECTOR STATE INSURANCE OFFICE A MOTOR VEHICLE CLAIMS ASSESSOR/ INSPECTOR is required by the Masterton branch of the State Insurance Office. This is a vacancy for a man who is a qualifield motor mechanic ("A” Grade Certificate is desired but other equivalent qualifications would be considered), with present day experience in the trade who has a good knowledge of panelbeating. can reliably estimate repair cost;, and also be able to deal with the public in respect of insurance matters. Previous experience in actual claims assessing or insurance work is not necessary' as training will be given. This is a responsible position, the work is very interesting and there is plenty of scope for the exercise of judgment, intiative and general ability. Duties include assisting in the new business development programme of the Office. The working conditions are very good and for the efficient man there are prospects of further advancement. This is a Public Service appointment with the right to join the excellent Government Superannuation and Staff Welfare Schemes.
