Car crashes into garden
(N Z. Press Association) i AUCKLAND. Sept. 29. A young man died in the i early hours of this morning I after the car he was driving ! had left a trail of damage in Russell Road, Manurewa. The car’s progress was 1 hardly impeded when it hit |a pole. It then crashed into, |a concrete gate post at | entrance to a property at 81 [Russell Road. I The impetus of the car; [wrenched the heavy post I from the ground and moved it Bft before the car vaulted i a wire fence and came to rest ■ in the front garden of 831 Russell Road. The driver was killed. He! was Mark Christopher Woolliams. aged 21, a fireman, of I Manurewa.
