Slightly easier tone to Australian trading

A.S.L. lost 10c to 40c, but most other financiers held fairly steady, and property developers were also mostly unchanged.
Miners sustained some of the heaviest falls, with Poseidon dropping 30c to 300 c and C.R.A. down 5c to 170 c. A. and S. was 7c lower at 85c, G.M.K. was 5c down at 105 c, and Peko Wallsend dipped 10c to 180 c. B. South rose 5c to 173 c, and M.I.M. 6c to 124 c.
