In a long statement of' I affairs from the corporation, ithe directors gave no indica-j tion that a rescue operation ■ had been successful. The corporation, its credit-! iors, and Government repre'sentatives held talks during I the week-end. I The directors referred to I “nearly concluded negotia-i tions” which have been suspended pending clarification of the corporation’s liquidity problems.
