Law and order
Sir, — After many years jof silently applauding “The . Press” for its news coverage and unbiased opinions, 1 lhave come to a sudden halt. [To suggest as you do in I your editorial of August 27 that you are fully informed about the unfortunate affair 1 involving Mr Muldoon in Auckland on Sunday night, is an insult to the initelligence of your readers and all thinking people. This Us especially so as your editorial is obviously based on the biased outburst of Mr Watt as printed on the front page of the same issue. Over the years it has become increasingly apparent that we need in this country many more Muldoons and many less trouble makers and a few less Watts.. — Yours, etc.,
T. R. BULLOCK. August 28, 1974.
