Full-time studies in Accountancy Institute bursaries extended Until this year, Technical Institutes offered Accountancy bursaries, which are available to those students with a minimum qualification of University Entrance, for only the first year of a full-time course. Students are allowed now to study in a “second” year full-time for the examinations of the New Zealand Society of Accountants. In addition, persons with at least 1400 hours of approved practical experience and who are studying for their final subjects of the Society's examinations could find they qualify for a full-time bursary. In any course leading to the New Zealand Certificate in Commerce, the bursars for full-time students remains available for only one year. This is because the next stage of study must be taken part-time whilst students are engaged in employment related to their studies. — Advt.
