Fijian's footwear
The Fijian Rugby players, at present touring New Zealand, have attracted many favourable comments because of their new style of on-the-field footwear — white boots with a black stripe. The boots were presented to the tourists by the footwear manufacturing firm of M. O’Brien and Co. Ltd in Westport. The Fijians have found them admirable in heavy conditions — which they have encountered more often than not so far.
