■S.Z.PA. Staff Corresponded The New Zealand horse, Gay Master, made short work of two other rtvala for an effortless vlo tory in the *3OOO J. H. S. Barnes Stakes '2200m > at Eagle Farm on Saturday. K. A. Mallyon allowed Gay Master to lope along behind Anby’s Love and Land Lover in Ute early stages of the weightfor age event, but whipped the grey round the other two at the W>hn mark to settle the issue. Amby’s Love tried hard to peg Gay Master back in the conclud ir.g stages, but Gay Master went to the line full of running to win by a length and a quarterLand Lover was five lengths away.
