Attack on boy
IN.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 12. A 15-year-old boy was beaten up by a group of men after they dragged him from a car in Edward Street, Wellington, about midnight on Friday, the police said today. The boy was sitting in a parked car near a night-spot and was with a friend, who was asleep. The men dragged the boy out of the car by his hair. He was beaten and kicked and lost consciousness. When he came to, his coat was missing and his friend had been robbed of his watch. The boy was taken to Wellington Hospital suffering concussion and was held for observation, although his injuries were not considered serous.
