MAORI XV NAMED
Four Canterbury players have been included in the I New Zealand Maoris Rugby team to play the Fijians in [Auckland on Saturday. I They are R. W. Norton, I who has been named as captain, W. K. Bush, V. E. Stewart, and T. E. Mitchell. I Norton and Mitchell will! now not be available for their ■ club, Linwood, in the grand final of the Harewood Trophy competition. The Maori team is:— K. T. Going (North Auckland); Mitchell, E. J. Stokes (Bay of Plenty). P. C. Goldsmith (Counties): H- P. Milner (Counties), B. L. Going (North Auckland); S. M. Going (North Auckland, vice-capt.): J. T. Carter (Hawke’s Bay); R. J. Barber (Southland). R. J. Lockwood (Waikato). Stewart, T. J. Waaka (Bay of Plenty); K. K. Lambert (Manawatu), Norton, Bush.
