A.A. COUNCIL NOMINEES
All six retiring members of the council of the Automobile Association (Canterbury) have been renominated, unopposed, for a twoyear term. The nominations closed at 5 p.m. yesterday. The nominees are: Messrs L. W. Broadhead, H. G. Hunt, A. I. R. Jamieson, J. R. Maling, G. G. Turbott, and Brigadier J. T. Burrows. The six nominees will be declared re-elected at the association’s annual general meeting on October 30. The council will also elect the president and vice-presi-dent. The present holders of the offices are Messrs A. I. R. Jamieson and H. G. Hunt. The members of the council who do not retire this year are Messrs E. R. Casbolt, T. D. Craig, G. L. Falck, H. M. Meyers, G. C. Miller, and T. W. Milliken.
