Student editor remains
An attempt to remove Mr M Horton as editor of the University of Canterbury students’ newspaper, “Canta,” was defeated at a meeting of more than 220 students.
A group of students had expressed dissatisfaction about the amount of space “Canta” was devoting to articles which had little direct connection with university affairs.
The motion to remove Mr Horton from his post was lost on the voices.
