Many a slip yesterday

The driver of this car, which skidded and flipped on to its side in Cambridge Terrace, was one of the many victims of the greasy roads in Christchurch yesterday.

Donald Hodge, aged 54. of Castletown Terrace, was injured when his cycle and a car collided in Moorhouse Avenue about 6.30 p.m., and Dorothy Meikle, aged 37, of 43 Mathers Road, was injured when her powercycle hit a parked car in Wrights Road about. 1.40 p.m.

Both suffered moderately serious head injuries, and were admitted to Christchurch Hospital.
