Cadet Forces church parade
The Cadet Forces of the Christchurch area will hold their annual church parade in St Luke’s Anglican Church, Manchester Street, on Sunday afternoon. The parade will form in the grounds of the church at] 2 p.m. under LieutenantCommander M. Coleman and will be inspected by Commo-; dore N. D. Anderson. R.N.Z.N. Three units. T. S. Cornwell. T.S. Steadfast and the Girls’ Nautical Training Corps will parade their colours into the church. Other units attending will be Nos. 17 and 18 Air'
!, Training Corps and the Sea |, Ranger ship Canterbury. The service will be conducted by Archdeacon R. J. ■P. Witty and the Cadet ’ Forces’ chaplain (the Rev. L. F. Allison). The address will be given by the Bishop of Nelson (the Rt. Rev. P. E. Sutton). Commodore Anderson will read the lesson. Senior-Sergeant J. M.j Thurston has been appointed a new crime preventiori co-' ordinator at national police' headquarters. Wellington.
