Japanese to coach N.Z.
Mr S. Inomata, assistant coach of the Japanese Olympic swimming team* at Tokyo in 1964, has been appointed coach of the New Zealand team for the Australian winter championships in Sydney in August. Mr Inomata has been in New Zealand for nine years and has coached at the Mount Eden Pool and Hastings Aquatic centre. At the start of this year, Mr Inomata moved to Palmerston North where he is teaching. He held a coaching school for the national association at Hastings in 1968.
