Four acres passed in at $220,000
A top bid approaching 8250,000 failed to secure a property of about four acres, zoned Residential B. at 60 Waimairi Road at auction yesterday.
Negotiations are proceeding for the property, which contains four acres one rood 26.5 perches. There were four unsuccessful bidders for the property, and two further offers have since been declined. The land has no Government valuation. The auctioneer was Mr E. G. Keenan, of Binns, Barber, and Keenan, Ltd. A property of 42 perches, with an early square house, at 10 Browning Street, Spreydon, was sold for an
undisclosed price yesterday. The property has a Government valuation (1969) of $3350. The auctioneer was Mr P. J. Cook, of Simes and Company. A three-bedroom house on a section of 30 perches at 10 Cleveland Street, St Albans, was passed in at $15,700.
