He read a news item broadcast by Radio Avon at noon on Maj’ 14 about the lower Court hearing of a charge against James William Lewis of murdering Mrs Myrtle Phyllis Reidy. In the latter part of the item the name Wilson was used twice instead of Lewis.

He has [not been charged with it and he will not be and in point [of fact at. the time when Mrs Reidy died the accused was in gaol awaiting his trial on this charge,” his Honour said.
