N.S.W., AUSTRALIA FOUNDATION DEAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS STUDIES Nepean College ol Advanced Education hav been eatabllahed as a multi-disciplinary college of advanced education to serve the Western Metrooolitan Area of Sydney and the Blue Mountains bounding the western limits of the city. The College will have corporate status administered bv its own Council, and will offer initially programmes in teacher education and business studies. A new campus It under construction at Kinyswood, 33 miles west of Svdnev. and fu-ther construction is under way at the Westmead Campus near Parramatta. The Dean of the School of Business Studies will be responsible directly to the Principal for the cieatlve, disciplined setting un of the School, the Introduction and development of a ranee of course at dinlomate and graduate levels and oversight of the progress of students. As Dean, he will assist in the overall development and administration of the College. The Dean will need to be able to teach and communicate well, to possess scholarship in a snacillc discipline and share an active interest in its practical annlicatlon In business. He will need to be a capable administrator able to give leadership to academic stall workm; In disciplines other than his own. Salary: $A19,102 per annum. Subject to certain conditions, the successful ennllcont will be eligible for:— • Payment ot fares to Sydney. • Financial assistance towards costs of removal expenses, a Contribution to the New South Wales Superannuation Fund. The appointment will be to the New South Woles Public Service in the first instance on the understending thet the appointee becomes a servant of the College when It gains corporate status.
