(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) IZMIR, May 19. The British teen-ager, Timothy Davey, has been released from a reformatory school after the signing of a general amnesty bill by President Koruturk, of Turkey.

The boy, aged 17, was released last night and was met by his mother and brothers. He was gaoled in 1971 for a term of six years and three months for selling marijuana. An estimated 80 per cent of Turkey’s 65,000 prisoners will benefit under the amnesty, signed by President Koruturk yesterday. Three Americans gaoled’ for 36 years on drug offences will also benefit from substantial reductions in their prison terms.
