TROTTING G. Bruton to drive Hal Foyle in Addington feature

G. A. V. Bruton, of Morrinsville, will drive Hal Foyle, the probable favourite for the N.A.C. New Zealand Probationary Drivers’ Championship at Addington Raceway this evening. Bruton, one of the most successful young drivers in the North Island, won with Glenfinnan at Auckland last Saturday.

M de Filippi, the leading South Island probationary driver this season, drew a strong form; runner in Local Dryden, which; Seed a splendid race for sixth hind Martial Salute at Oamaru' on Saturday.

Speed King, a good third to Martial Salute at Oamaru, is an-' other top fancy tn this evenings' $2500 race in which seven North: Island and seven South Island? drivers will compete for special trophies donated by Tara Lodge,' Ltd.
