$2600 flood damage
The Christchurch Technical Institute has been granted $2650 by the Department of Education to repair electrical equipment damaged in the recent floods. The director of the institute (Mr C. V. Gallagher), said in his report to the council of the institute last evening that there was considerable damage to electrical installations. Two boilerhouses and the records room were flooded to ceiling level. Many of the records were damaged.
