Craig home blasted

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) BELFAST, May 6. A bomb has blasted the Belfast home of Mr William Craig, the Right-wing Unionist leader, causing extensive damage to its front. Mr Craig’s German-bom wife was inside at the time of the explosion, but there was no immediate indication that any-one was injured. Mr Craig was away fishing. Mr Craig is leader of the Ulster Vanguard Unionist Party, and is also one of the three leaders of the United Ulster Unionist Council, the others being Mr Harry West and the Rev. lan Paisley.

Mr Craig was fired on by gunmen several years ago while travelling in his car on a motorway between Lisburn and Belfast, but was unhurt.
