Orchestra booked
Mr Herbert Weissenstein, manager of the New York Philharmonic, visited Christchurch recently to complete accommodation arrangements for the 120 members of the orchestra, which will tour New Zealand in August. Mr Weissenstein was shown the Town Hall complex by Mr Trevor King, representative of Kerridge Odeon and J.C.W. Theatres, Ltd, and Mr Patrick Connell, manager of the Town Hall.
