The unaudited group net profit of North Broken Hill, Ltd. for the nine months to March 31 was about 77 per cent higher than for the previous corresponding period at about $6.5m. the directors report. The profit on operations was about 3.5 times higher at s2.Bm and net investment income rose about 27 per cent to about $3.7m.
Net investment income includes dividends actually received. and the net profit for any quarter is not necessarily an’indication of the result for the full vear, the directors '.say.
